WHEN YOU SHOULD VISIT US

Your blind spot monitor uses ultrasonic sensors and/or cameras to monitor the vehicles blind spots and warns the driver that there is an object in the blind spot using lights or sound. If this function is not working properly you could be at risk.

ACC uses radar, laser or camera technology to maintain a specific distance behind the vehicle in front. A variety of systems are available by a few different names. More advanced systems have the ability to bring the vehicle to a complete stop.

  • Uses anti-lock brakes, steering angle sensor, yaw sensor and lateral force sensor to correct for conditions leading to over-steer, under-steer and roll over.

  • Uses radar, laser or camera technology to war the driver of an impending crash. The system is capable of stopping the vehicle without driver input when the driver does not respond to the warning. There are multiple names for this function.

  • Similar to the Collision Avoidance System the system uses radar, laser or camera technology to stop the vehicle when a crash is imminent. It dos not issue a warning.

  • LDW uses camera technology to warn the driver when the vehicle is leaving its current lane

    LKA uses camera technology to monitor the lane markings and provides automatic steering and braking assist to keep the vehicle from leaving the lane.

  • Uses a thermal imaging camera combined with sensors such as radar and infrared light to detect objects in the dark. The driver controls the response if objects are detected.

  • Uses 4 to 6 cameras to provide a 360 degree view around the vehicle.
